My notebook
These are a collection of random sketches generated from unexpected experiences. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
Inspired by the upside-down in Stranger Things, I sketched this section of two cities interacting with one another. And while these seem similar between them, they are unique in their ways.
We recently redesigned the end-user experience at Okta. This was one of my original sketches that showed the different components based on my initial discovery.
Flying back to San Francisco, I got inspired by how cities look and feel so different when viewed from the air, and the perception of spaces changes dramatically.
This is the view when I sit in my living room every day. This bookshelf has been an essential piece in my home, and the contents have evolved over time.
I tend to wake up early, more so when I’m traveling. During a trip to Tahoe in 2019, I sketched this view while the rest were sleeping. It was probably interrupted when someone woke up, and we went to get some tea.
In 2018 I remodeled an apartment in Mexico City. This was one of the original sketches for the family room built-in bookshelves, one of the most essential spaces for the family that moved in.
When I started working in Okta’s end-user experience, it quickly became evident that the apps were the most critical component for a user. These were some initial explorations.
